I bought a wrecked M50 swapped car last winter. The swap cost $49xx and some change total. The customer paid for tons of new parts, but some of them did not make it onto the car.

It was literally the WORST M50 swap I have ever seen (and believe me, I've seen some bad ones.)

My total cost now is at around $5,600 just put in new oil and coolant and it's running and driving....although I can see how taking the time to plan and using high quality parts can drive up the cost in the double digits..,1/20/14 did a major suspension overhaul shocks where blown got Bilstein HDs, shock mounts front and rear, new rotors & pads, bimmer world delrin offset CABs, new control arms, tie rods and sway bar links, samco radiator hoses, new radiator (never buy a used radiator broke in 2 days :banghead) 5w50 synthetic and filter

I'm doing all the work myself in a my toasty little garage
