    zf320 driveshaft options

so ive done a ton of searching and there is a lot of information out there but nothing that is definitive. I have a s50 swap with the matching zf. im currently using the revshift swap disc but i would like to go back to the factory guibo and dont know exactly what d/s i can use. so far i have gathered that i can use a:

    (6/86+ ???) 325e d/s. or a e36 m3 4 bolt rear d/s?

i have seen a bunch of e36 325i or "is" ones for sale but im not sure if they will fit.
The right ones def seem to be hard to find though. Any places known for selling the right ones for a good price besides forum f/s threads

While im getting input it would be cool to hear from people running the zf and s50 about diff selection. Currently have the 2.93 lsd but it makes the car a dog off the line. I would love to wake the bottem end of this car up with a better ratio.
i dont do a lot of highway driving and would love the low end but dont want to be at 4000 rpms at 80mph.
    Any input is appreciated

Driveshafts that will work with your setup:

    1995-1999 M3.
    1996-1998 328

They are both the same driveshaft 1492mm but BMW shows them as different part number.

On my swap I got everything from 1996 328i, including the shifter.

I do have one spare driveshaft for sale

2.93 is ok. 3.15 is probably what you want.

      I run a ZF/3.73 S52. 1st gear is useless. Crazy revs on the highway. 2nd & 3rd are fuuuuun!!

I used my 86 e driveshaft and it worked perfectly. I think it was pre 10/86 that had a small guibo.

3.25ish would be perfect. I have a 4.10 with a ZF, the car is fast, but man does it rev its tits off ALL the time.

If you don't want it to be a dog off the line you need the 3.25.
Or you need a 6 speed.
I'm using an E30 M3 driveshaft in my car. Direct fit. Really nice.
