Shifter rod length

Im about to do an m50/zf310 swap in my e30, i have the swap out of an e34 which i understand doesnt have the correct shift linkage and aluminum brace/mount.. Any chance anyone could measure center to center on the shift linkage and from pivot to the tip of the aluminum part so i can just shorten the ones i have and save me the hassle of trying to find one in a yard

Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks alot!

If the tranny is a ZF the linkage should all line up.

Yea the one on the e34 drivetrain is long as shit.. I have everything needed to shorten it just hoping someone can give me a measurement so i can do it before i put it in the car

I'll try to tomorrow. I need to throw in my e36 zf linkage so I will have it in hand.

Thanks man! If you could can you measure from the front pivot to the centerline of the shifter on the aluminum mount, looks like the rear part is slightly diff then the e34
