    Oil filter housing plug?

There is a plug on the back side of the oil filter housing on my m50nv that is leaking ridiculously bad. Right above the oil pressure switch. When the motor is off I can actually push it back into towards the housing like it's spring loaded. Is there an oring there? How can I fix this?

there are a few different kind of housings, some have threaded allen head plugs while other have plugs held in with snap rings.

Assuming you have the kind held in by snap rings, these are your o-rings. They are about $2 each. Part number 11421709513

Thank you very much. Got some orings in there and fixed the leak no problem. I did had the circlip style housing.

While on this subject. I have the kind with threaded allen plugs. Does anyone know off hand the thread pitch of these? It's right next to the pressure switch. I'd like to run an oil pressure gauge and if I could plug one in there rather than a T off the pressure switch that would be ideal.

VDO 360-024 will allow you to run the factory warning light of the same sender a VDO gauge uses. No adapter or T fitting required.
