    zf shifter linkage

I've been searching for 2 days to find a definite answer about this linkage with the swap. Can I use my late e30 linkage with the engine/trans swap or do I have to use the e36 linkage?

Also has anybody had any issues with the revshift guibo adapter aside from the trimming necessary to get it to bolt up to the trans?

    Thanks

Use the linkage from the trans you are using.

Guy in this thread used e30 linkage with an e36 trans.

I have a custom tunnel mounted shifter and dssr so I can't say from experience what is correct.

In any case just get the motor and trans mounted up, and try it out to see if it will fit. The selector rod and carrier are easy to shorten and lengthen in any case so if what you have isnt the correct length just modify it to work.
