mk11!!!! :eeek: must cost a fortune!
haha, how do the brakes feel? normal... or not so good like some people say the e21 boosters make them feel?Comment

brake feel almost has to change. You are going to a smaller booster, so there is going to be some loss of assist. But the Mk I booster appears to be somewhat thick, so maybe its not too bad.Comment

Yep, that's the one. It looks bigger in the picture than in person.
I plan on mounting it on the bracket that used to hold the air filter box. The only issue I see is the fitting size is smaller dia. than the vacuum hose. A hose clamp or step-down fitting may be necessary.Comment

Seriously, the intake manifold is EASILY modified to fit the stock booster.. Leaving the last two full length ribs on the back side, cut the plastic out, and using UV resin and fiberglass from any surfshop lay a new wall to the shape of the booster. 5 mins in the sun, light sanding, black paint, and you're done.
$20 vs. $150+ for the booster...Comment

24v with stock booster !
Glad to here that it worked out for you. I know it's really easy ,much cheaper (you e30 guys like that) and when matted up with a 25mm master (750i) you'll still have great brake . So you 24v swappers (US version) take a good look at this modification and protect those e30 with better brakes. I put up pics a couple of threads back about what I did. joeComment

Get yourself an e30 325IX brake booster, I used an e34 m5 master cylinder part number 34331156978.
For the remote res.

GET THESE:
05 EXPANSION TANK GIRLING 1 34321160576
02 PLUG 2 34311163464 WILL NEED TWO OF THESE
Here is the parts
Put your booster and new master cylinder together, then it all just pushes together
I found that where I have my reservoir now, the lines can get caught in the throttle body linkage, also they get in the way of the intake boot
The best place I can find to mount it would be on the plate where the old airbox attached next to the ABS unitRollin' with a GeistkuchenComment
