    Mystery wire

Just noticed I have a dangling ring terminal wire down by my starter. Car runs fine except I currently have a 1221 code I'm trying to track down. This wire goes into the harness in the same spot where the TPS wire merges in. Harness and engine are from an M50tu E34. Probably a ground?

I haven't gotten down there to strip the cover and see, was hoping it would be obvious where it's supposed to go. :)

Looks like one of the wires that connects to the starter?

Based on my google images search, my "extra" wire might be the top post on the starter solenoid. When I get home tonight I need to dig around down there and see if that's it.

I had it on my harness as well. Never hooked up and never an issue.

            Came from an e34 auto.

I guess I won't worry about it then! Thanks.
