euro s50 vs built m50 advice

hey dudes been thinking about sourcing a euro s50b30 for my e30. i already have an m50b25 non vanos swap, 5 speed, headers and so on. i ended up buying an m54b30 rotating assembly for it to get some more power. my question is what do you think. should i sell my rotating assembly, m50 and save for a euro s50. ive been doing some research and it looks like most of the stuff i have now will bolt up. i just like the idea of having itbs and the extra power. i think the s50b30 has like 286hp or something of that nature. let me know you're thoughts on this. whether you think i should finish the m50 stroker setup or just sourch a low mileage euro motor?

Doing a euro 3.0 is silly. And honestly, I'd probably just pick the S54 over the 3.2. All three of these will end up costing you about the same.

its funny that you say that is because i was just looking at s54 swap threads. and i have been calculating prices for all the parts i need for the m50, and to have a machine shop do some of the work. and to have everything the way i want it its not far from just putting in a stock s54. that might be the route i go. thanks for the input on that.

The best part about it is that if you blow up the S54, you can source another long block for WAY less.

S54 is the ticket. Find and install; you can keep your current AC/Alt/Ps pump/ starter/ alternator if desired; they all bolt up to the S54.

S54 or FI M/S US variant. Plenty of them available and us compliant and parts are more affordable vs shipping from UK or Europe.

Another vote for the s54 from the owner of a s50b32 car.

Justin are you thinking about buying that s54/6 in Hot Springs? That would be an interesting swap. I think he wanted $4k for it.

I would go the m50 direction, it's a whole lot easier to get parts quickly if it is for a DD than you might have waiting on parts for the s50b32.

All that said, I am really enjoying my S50B32 in the daily.
