gettin tired of my m52tub25 cause it's too complicated and fragile and want to get my m52b28 stroker back. i need some new plans for it because it will go through a rebuild.
basically the engine is an m50 iron block with m52b20 head and m52b28 insides. the piston rings are weak and gives a lot of blow-by.
the compression on it is 253 psihttps://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...type=3&theater
the former problems i had with it is that the engine was build on a very low budget because of a scam, the iron block was taken from an abandoned car and used with the b28 rings that could not take that much abuse from 253psi and it was really shaking
i want to hone the block put fresh rings and bearings. what do you suggest i do about the head, i'd like to keep the compression but i don't think the small b20 head valves will help me. would putting 2.5/8 valves that are 33 intake 30 exhaust help? or is the head too weak to be bored that much?
it also had a problem with overheating but that may be because nor the head or the block got machined.
what do you suggest i do about it? do you have any specs between the b20 head and the b25? would keeping the b20 head and massive compression be better than the b25 head? or could installing b25 valves in the b20 be the best option?
