Headers for s52 your opinion needed

So I found these ebay headers at the junkyard yesterday. I'm getting ready to re-do my exhaust and I currently have stock s52 manifolds. The primaries on the headers are 1.5 o.d. and the collectors are 2 o.d.

So what do you guys think? Stick with the stock s52 manifolds or ebay headers? I know there are a lot of exhaust threads but couldn't find any with these specific headers.

    Sorry for the crappy pic!

They look like typical eBay supersprints that have a flange added. Either will flow fine.

I know they both flow fine but my question is would you choose the ebay header over stock manifolds. I can't decide myself thats why I'd like others opinions. Or anyone who has used them to chime in.

Stock S52 headers are legit. Shorty tubulars, and they have no rasp. However, you'll need to find a way to plug the SAP ports (bimmerworld sells block-off plates or you can have them welded up).

        That's what I'm running.

I'm already running the stock s52 manifolds with the ports plugged. I'm getting new high flow cats and muffler soon so it would be easy for me to throw the headers on. Just wondering if it would help at all?

            Help with what??
I have run them both, I use whatever is readily available. They both work. It is up to you with what you want. Stock are thicker wall than after market. There will be more rasp with eBay ones. Your doing the rest over so it doesn't matter where they exit, that will be new.

There both readily available because I have both. I should of just said which one makes more power? I would assume the ebay ones because they have longer primaries. But i wanted to get others opinions. Thats why I posted the tube diameters and a pic so everyone could see which headers I was talking about. Anyone have noticable gains from them or not? I'm not to concerned with rasp or where they exit.

I was happy with how they performed, and didn't have much rasp all said and done. My car went good and I wouldn't be afraid to run them again. I just built an s52 car with them actually. I doubt you will find a dyno for them compared to stock obd2 manifolds. Run them, they won't hurt any.

These are made by super sprint. They are M3 euro spec replicas.
