    Throttle body port identification

On a S50 throttle body, there is two ports for the coolant on the underside. There is an addtitionnal port. Is it for the ASC? What is it used for? Can I just plug it?

Bingo! Throttle body, tube, evap valve, tube, evap canister.

I think I let go the evap valve valve when I sold my M20. the valve part #13-90-1-711-395 cost 182.25$ on Pelicanparts!!

Do I really need this valve?!? Looking at the e36 setup and it doesn't seem to have any valve...

EDIT: FOUND THE VALVE ON THE E36 SETUP

Obd1 e36 has it. OBD 2 e36's do it a little differently. If you want to just delete you evap system, plug the port on the throttle body, then go get a small air filter and clamp it to the end of the hose coming out of the gas tank. (The one that would normally go to your charcoal canister)

This is what I do, but you'll probably fail an emissions check. I'm sure you can find one of those valves at the junk yard for pennies.

Agreed. This is on my track car #1, and i live in NH #2. They have 0 F**k's to give about emissions on E30's. ;)

Does both the e30 and e36 purge valve fit?

Good question. I don't see why not...
