Did you witness this engine run before you purchased it?

i've read you in other post this question.
      and that's strange.
i thing you're talking about the "check" light in the middle of the cluster..it don't glow..but maybe i don't have it..my car is a extremely early e30 and his cluster to..

mine is exactly like this..but i have the words "oil service...inspection" at the top of the "green yellow red oil inspection lights" and they come on only sometimes.

No, I was referring to the check engine light but earlier cars do not have it so you have to wire it into your harness. What you are referring to is the "Check" panel light.

i can wire the check light?..fron where to where?

im worried about the c104 connector..i've read that k jetronic cars (mine) don't have it..in that case..how i need to wire those wires?

i think c101 pin 9 black is one of them and that wire is plug with the black wire, the pin 20 at x20 connector..i think this is ok, the rpm i think.

but i guess if i need another wire to the speed too? (black/white or white/black) and where it is if i don't have c104?

with starter fluid, the engine starts and die..seems like fuel issue but i know i have fuel and i've see the injectors spraying..and the spark plugs are wet.
