    aux fan

any place that you guys know of that's a good power source for the aux fan? i think i'm going to run it all time when the power is on and want to know what power source would be a good one so i don't burn up any wires or harnesses. wires i've looked at are one of the main relay wires or a wire i found off of the fuse box that i have no idea what it does.

otherwise i was contemplating running a switch off of the power terminal in the engine bay. which would you recommend? an all time running fan or a switch?

can't use the old wiring for the stock fan because it's all shot to shit from the previous owner somehow.

    thanks

The OEM wiring for the aux fan is 2.5mm² which is equivalent to 12AWG. I doubt if there's any other wiring in the engine compartment that's that big so you probably need to run new wires. Tap into the origianal relay outputs. If you want this to be manually switchable run a switch between the relay control wires (from the the temp switch on the side of the radiator) to a 12V power source.
