ok so my engine came from an automatic. so apparently i need to install a pilot bearing? anyone got a part number? i went to bmw and the guy couldn't find one and idk what parts diagram it would be on?

Mine came with my clutch kit. Most do. I got a sachs clutch kit with the alignment tool, new pressure plate, pilot bearing and clutch disk. Its not bad to install at all.Comment

i got that F1 kit off flea bay but it didnt include the pilot bearing. so i went to bmw and the guy couldent find it either i thought he ordered me one but he ordered the throw out bearing. bmw was better quality then the kits so i took it anyway. @mye30 thanks for that im calling bmw to order it now.my build thread http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=309778Comment
