Brake Booster Relocation

So, I was about to start the brake booster relocation. When I got under the dash I realized the booster had already been relocated at one point.. but the wrong direction, I think. :-? Can someone confirm that this is the wrong direction, and maybe why this was done. There was a M20 Stroker in it previously.

It looks like it is currently in the factory spot, but looks like it was moved to the drivers side of the car at some point. Was it a previously swapped car?

Hm, that could be the case I was thinking just the opposite. As far as the swap, I don't believe so, but I don't know the history prior to the stroked m20. I guess I'll have to find out when I attempt to drop in the M50. Thanks!

if there arent any holes in the firewall i would suspect someone twisted the pedal assembly over towards the accelerator pedal to make it easier to heal toe the car, that would be my guess seeing as that is much easier than moving just the pedal pad over if you dont have a welder handy.
