im planning the exhaust right now, should be the last thing to go in on monday. I'm bringing the car to a shop to do custom pipes from the manifolds to my supersprint cat back. After talking to many people and hearing many things, i've narrowed it down to a couple options and i was wondering if any experienced people have any insight into the subject or can suggest or comment on anything..
exhaust must have a cat as i need to do emmisions next month, but if its in budget, i will have them make the cat removable with a straight pipe attachment in its place so i can just put the cat in when i need to do emmissions or feel like being environmental.
here's my options thus far.
1) dual 2 inch from the manifolds into a 2 inch dual in dual out cat continues dual 2 inch to my supersprint cat back this option would also need an h-pipe before the cat as there is no place where the pipes would cross exhaust flow until the muffler. im pretty sure the cat has separate chambers for both banks.
2) dual 2 inch from the manifolds to a y pipe that goes to single 3 inch with a single 3 inch cat back to another y pipe to dual 2 inch and then connect to the supersprint
