OBD2 throttle body/cable fitment issues

Running an S52/OBD2 with OBD2 throttle body, E34M5 m/c. I am using a E32 booster from a 1990 735iL with the spacer installed.

I cannot seem to get the E34 throttle cable to fit - it is interfering with the brake booster. Do you mount it on the top hole/bracket or the bottom hole/bracket?

Does anyone have any info or pictures on a similar setup?
