just threw a knock sensor code

Did a little bit of research but didn't really find much on it. Should I just replace the sensors or is there something I should be worried about?
If you're not going to do it right, please don't take it out on your car!

Obd1 or OBD 2? Maybe swap them, if it changes what sensor is picking up the knock then it is the motor, it it stays with the sensor it's probably the sensor.

Its obd1. Some people say it could be carbon build up but I've had a few issues with the swap so I'll give that a try and see what happens. What if the code won't pop up again? Just replace sensors?

Does it record what knock sensor it is, 1 or 2? If it does when you swap them it should change what knock sensor is picking up knock. If the same sensor is picking up knock then the sensor is probably bad, if the opposite sensor is picking up knock I would diagnose a knock.
