I may just be interpreting this wrong, but what is my CEL trying to tell me? I bought this wrecked e36 a few weeks ago and was told it had no codes (1444). It ran fine when I bought it, or so I thought. I had only heard it run for around 30sec, as it had no rad. After reassembling the cooling system, I drove it, and noticed that it is laggy below 3500-4000. It seems to come alive above that. Keep in mind, this is NOT a VANOS car.
Basically, I'm confused by the stomp test. Mine seems to flash at a slower rate than others that I have seen. Also, when I interpret the code, I get something that is not listed. So, can someone watch this video and tell me the information my e36 would like me to know? I would just like to fix this issue before I strip it out, to ensure everything will work correctly when dropped into my e30.
BTW, the donor is a 1992 325i
