    rewiring the engine harness

i'm cleaning up my wiring harness and rewiring my c101. i can't remember what wires went where but all of my wire colors on the body side are different than what i can find. so is the pin assignment still the same if the wire color is different than what i can find? such as how pin 14 is typically black/white and mine is a blue/yellow?

here is the pins for the body side c101:
    1. blue
    2. blue/black
    3.-
    4. brown/violet
    5. black/brown
    6. green/yellow
    7. green
    8. yellow/white
    9. black
    10. violet/green
    11. white/blue
    12. brown/black
    13. violet/red
    14. blue/yellow
    15. black/green
    16. white/black
    17.-
    18. black/yellow
    19.-
    20. red/yellow

any info helps on what which wire is what. thanks

I have it up on my computer now. I just haven't had the time to look through it and was hoping someone could have some answers on here. Plus I'm not very savvy with that stuff.

What exactly are you rewiring? Redoing an adapter or redoing the body side of the c101 itself?

Mine where almost all different colors than what most people listed but served the same function which is why you gotta go by pin number.

i'm redoing the engine side. the body side wires are different than what usually comes up but if the pin numbers serve the same function then that's all i need to know. but engine side comes from an e34 525i and i lost how i pinned it before and my mistake i didn't write down how it was before i took the pins out
