Driveshaft ?

When using the s50 engine, and tranny. Are you able to use use a 89-91 325i DS if the the output flange on the tranny is changed out so that the driveshast will bolt up? i don't know what out put shaft would be used that of a e36 325i tranny or of a e30 325i tranny.
I heard that it is fine, but not positive. or is the length of the shaft not right?

I believe it's the length of the shaft that's not right.

If you use a S50 engine and ZF 320 tranny, you have to use 328i or 96+ M3 driveshaft. However, you have to make sure the driveshaft is for a four bolt rear flange, otherwise you won't be able to mate the driveshaft to the E30 differential.
