just dumped a substantial amount for a custom made exhaust for my US S50 swapped E30.
went with: stock headers -> dual 2.25" -> mandrel bent single 2.5" -> single 2.5 highflow catback -> dual 2.25" -> stock E36M3 muffler (i know , heavy)
dual 2.25" all the way would be way too expensive. I could have gone 3" single, but figured it'd be too much.
the thing is sooo quiet.
