Selector Rod for M52 w/ 5 speed?

Fellas,

Does anyone know what length selector rod is used (and I guess shift carrier too) when using the ZF 5 speed box on an M52 swap? I am looking to get a UUC DSSR, and also currently deciding on an M52 swap (from 325i). So ideally both are the same, but it doesn't look to be the case. Can I safely assume you need to use the same selector rod/shift carrier as the transmission came with?

yup you have it right. mate it to the transmission you have, so youll want a e36 selector rod. i found that out the hard way.
