I did search and didn't find any information on that...
On page 319 of 1995 E36 ETM, we can se that the X20 pin 2 connect the vanos control unit to the high speed fan relay.
I physically looked at my X20 and I don't have any wire connected to the pin #2... Why? Is it because my harness may not be from an M3? (bought the engine already in a car, so don't know about the harness source).
What has the vanos control to do with the fan speed?
Also, when looking at the E36 ETM, I see the Normal speed fan relay (K21) connected to the X20 pin 5 to the DME. What is this for?
Note that my harness has the pin 5 wired...(E36 page 150)
Do I need to do something about pin 2 and pin 5 or I just leave it unwired?
