I still have A/C in my e30s52. I will "try" to get a pic of it, but I am very busy these days, and will only if I get the time.

If you are asking how to:

You use the E36 line (compressor to condensor). Cut the compressor end off, drill it's hole to about 11.5. You also need the suction line from the E36, cut the compressor fitting out of the hose and the barbed piece. You then use the E30 pieces of the same sort back on it.

        Permit's : http://www.r3vlimited.com/gallery/sh...3&userid=10496

        Hard to see.

the 318 line works for one line and the other use the stock e30 line and cut off the e30 end near the compressor and attach the e36 end....

I don't really have any pics of mine (although I could take some if you are stuck for ideas), but I had to modify both of the pipes that connect to the compressor.

To make life easier in the future, I made some adapters to convert from the E36 style compressor fittings (the ones secured with a single bolt) to much more standard threaded fitting like the E30 originally had. Once these adapters were fitted on the compressor it was much easier to find someone who could make custom hoses.

agreed... it would probably be a lot easier to use soft lines too at that point too...

but A/c line dont fit it you have a turbo where they are supposed to be... i would like to route soft lines around the side of the engine bay instead... i just need adapters and no one makes them for the retarded e36 mountings

i used a lump from 94' 525i, i used the return lines from the e30 with a smaller adapter and the main lines used a similair bracket but had double the height

it is still in testing stages, as my tech said if it leaks then i would have to re-weld the tips from the e34 lines.....

A/C is for true champions. Like myself.

I ordered them yesterday. It's too damn hot here(almost 40 C) and I have to have a/c. Not going another summer without.
