Is it possible?

If so, who does it and how much does it cost?

I have an m52b28 from a 2000 528i that i would like to transplant to a e30. I don't want any of the ews shizen that goes with it as it just complicates things.

I got my Siemens ms41.1 from an obd2 e36 flashed for 300

You can't flash out the EWS from an ms42/43, instead you'll have to use an EWS-emulator or similar to make the ecu think that everything's kosher.
Turns out this is nowadays old and incorrect. Apparently it can be done.

Also you'll want an ms42 to go with the M52TU.
