    new swap not driving right

    87 325e to
    -m50b25 non-vanos
-e30 325i pressure plate and flywheel (single mass)
    -OE unsprung 325e clutch
    -G260 tranny

idles right. Go to drive it pulls like it should. Get 3 blocks from where I started and the engine starts racing. foot off the gas still in gear it feels like an auto-tranny and it still trying to move (not pull, but move) then i take it out of gear the revs are now erratic and jumping all over the place. when its park and the key is turned off, it sounds as though the rotating assemble is still spinning, just getting no fuel or ignition (almost like dieseling).

What throw out bearing are you using? Whats the condition of clutch master and slave? Did you replace when you did the swap? Is your 325E clutch disc from a dual mass?

This below?? wtf? Your wiring sounds jacked up Could it be the starter spinning>??

I used the throw out that was originally in the g260. Was not swapped. Both the master and slave function, I had to bleed it after putting it in the car but that was about it. The clutch disk is the unsprungclutch that was originally in my g260 with the dual mass.

For clarification. the car is running I then go to park it and turn it off thats where it has that issue where it still sounds like the rotation assembly is spinning. I didnt mean for it to sound like its been parked for days and I just hop in and it does it.

are you using the e30 starter? it sounds like it's not disengaging. when it's in park and you shut it off does it quit doing what it's doing on its own or how does it stop?
If you're not going to do it right, please don't take it out on your car!

When you say not disengaging, you dont mean like its running the entire time Im trying to drive it round the block are you? same starter thats paired to the flywheel, before I started the swap. Yeah turn the key off and by the time I stand up out the seat and out of the car door it has slowed its spinning to the point it comes to a standstil. I dont have to do anything, its slows and stops on its own.

I'd start with a new starter and work from there. If that doesn't fix it then I would try ignition switch. Otherwise you have a wiring bug somewhere

Now that you mention it, im also having issues with the window motors and with the hvac blower motor not working while the car is running. they work with no issue with the car off and the key in accessory.

well your windows and blower motor run through your unloader relay on the starter. but that's weird it runs with the the key on but not running. i'm guessing it's a 50/50 shot whether it's the ignition or the starter
