    s50 oil pan

So I was wondering if there was a way without using raised motor mounts to have my oil pan sit up higher its an s50 swapped car.... the pan scrapes here and there and Im not low im on like 2in drop springs but iwould like to go lower is there another oil pan that sits higher and would bolt up without having to fab anything ..... I can't seem to find anything .... i was hoping to find something like the hybid pans for vw that sit up higher but havent had any luck....

I am thinking no. As it is right now you probably have and e34 oil pan in there now. That's usually the oil pan used on m5xx/s5xx swap e30s.

The thing to do is to get the under armor to protect your oil pan . There are a few out there. Look for red 46 skid plate on ebay.

Get a red46 skid plate - I've got 1.75" - 2" or so clearance - uncut housings, GC coilover sleeves all the way down, and GC Race camber plates. It scrapes fairly often, though less now that I've gotten used to driving it.

I don't think anyone is marketing any oil pans for the E30 (M42/x5x) that are modded for clearance.

we have done a couple swaps with modified e34 pans to gain clearance by extending the kickout to the side to retain capacity while keeping it nice and high above the rack. if you can weld aluminum, this is the best way to do it, that or run a modified subframe and swaybar to be able to use the rear sump pans

i used a 5/8" spacer under the motor mounts with my m50 swap and it put the pan above the engine crossmember, been that way for almost a year with zero issues..
