Can someone using Condor motor mounts tell we where the offset stud should be?

    Hi guys,

Can someone tell me where the offset stud should be while looking down on them? Are they at like a 3 and 9 o'clock position on each side?

I'm trying to fit my spal fan in between the engine and radiator with no luck. I'm wordering if I spin the mounts so the engine goes further back, I can make it work. Just not sure where the offset stud should sit.

It looks like the new mounts have a pin for orientation. Mine do not. Even a pic of that pin would be helpful.

    Thanks
    Jay

i dont know if im wrong but in theory because of the size of the engine its not very practical to mount the fan between the motor and radiator. i see most people install it on the outside of the radiator.

No You are correct, most do instal it in front of the radiator.

I have a low profile Spal fan, and it almost fits. Like 1/8 of an inch. I was hoping to use this. It spins the wrong way to use in front of the radiator (unless I can flip the fan..hmmm i may have to look at that tonight)

Anyway I was trying to not spend any more money on this swap as my budget has been blown wide open..as I figured to also turbo my s52 while doing the engine swap. Told my wife it would be cheaper to do it this way. LOL

If I maybe could gain a tiny bit more room I could probably use it between the engine and the rad. (once I shave the fan clutch threads)

      Thanks
      Jay

I'm pretty sure they are supposed to be pointed towards the engine, not forward or back.

Can't comment on position at the moment without looking at set but the cars we have done with condor mounts we usually have to either trim m20 blades down or run a euro diesel fan to clear the radiator.

Pm condor and ask directly. I had serious issues with that other brand selling offset mounts. I bit the bullet and bought the akgs. They fit perfect the first time. Also your subframe could be sagging. Broken and bending ears. Mine is doing that :(

                My vote goes for this.

However I am pretty sure they can only go in one, maybe two ways. The room on the front depends on which radiator you are running. I had a m42 radiator and SPAL slim fan mounted in front of my s50 without issue.

Condor has some awesome customer service. And I am sure they can provide you with just about all the other questions you might have about there products.
