    m50 surges idle

    I got a m50 tu and the idle surgesbetween 1000-2500, the charcoal canister is deleted. I've swapped icv and its got a new maf. I'm thinking vacuum leak but i dont have a smoke tester at the moment

      Did you get a plug to cover the vacuum port on the bottom of the throttle body? I had this same issue and this turned out to be one of the causes. plug costs a few bucks at a napa for a set.

          Yes. Believe it's the throttle body when I control it by hand I get it to idle correctly

          Edit. I was helping op with this at his house in the one who made the thread on his account.
