Yes. You can run M52B28 engine with 1992 non vanos engine management.

I'm confused by what you're saying. He has a NV harness, which does not have the wiring for vanos and knock sensors. How he could run this on an M52 with knock sensors and vanos (double vanos?).

If you ran non vanos engine management it would not need the knock sensors or vanos control, so you "could" run the harness. But I was keeping it simple as it is not plug and play for an M52 swap. I'm not sure if you would have to lock the vanos to run the non vanos setup or not but you would have to look into that as well.
