    Spicing up an M52tu

    Hey guys,
I got my hands on an alloy-block m52tu that I'm planning to swap in over the summer, but before then I want to look into ways I can spice it up a bit.

On the single vanos motors, putting in s50 cams is a pretty powerful upgrade, but since the Tu I have is dual-vanos I don't think those cams will work.

Will I have to go with custom-ground cams or ZHP cams if I want to hot-cam it? Are there other upgrades out there that I'm ignorant of?

Swapping in an M54 intake manifold is a simple and affordable upgrade, though you'll need to get an adapter plate for the throttle body.

doing anything to M52tu? 2.5L is just time and money wasting. If you want power then go with M54B30 long block at least.

Going b28. picked it up for reasonably cheap and it has really low mileage.
