    Thought I had a different M50 harness! Need some wiring tips.

    Right, so I thought I had the engine harness from an E36 for my M50B25TU but it happens to be the harness from an E34.

    I've got the wiring adapter from Andrew on here which he made for an E36 - > E30 swap. Is the wiring in the plugs the same or is there some wiring I need to modify?

      You should message Andrew he could probably answer that question for you. I do know the e34 harness has oil level wired already wired into it and e36 does not.

          I'll definitely drop him an email, was looking for a quick answer since I had to drop by the mechanic's garage. :)

              To anyone wondering, I got a reply from Andrew that no significant wiring differences are present.
