    M50 swap, No spark, no fuel.

    I have this E30 with a M50 E34 NV swap in my garage. It's one of my friend's car and since I'm comfortable with wiring diagrams, swaps and such, I offered my help to resolve the no start problem he his having with this swap. Apparently it was running fine before. It had another M50, that blew, they replaced it and now it won't start.

    I have verified all the grounds to the ECU, Engine, COPs and such. Also made sure the ECU is getting constant 12v, ignition signal and cranking.

    I think the ECU is not turning on, oh BTW it's a 403 green label ECU, and apparently it was running with this ECU before. I have verified all the connections to the ECU from the crank sensor, cam sensor, TPS, etc...

    The wiring harness was a mess (twisted connection with tape, no soldering). I've redone it all.

    Does the E30 have a CEL light? If so it should show up when I turn the key on right? if not, i can try to see if I get GND at the C101 connector...

    Also, should the fuel pump prime on key-on signal on a M50? if I manually ground the relay it does, but the DME doesn't seem to do much.

    Any suggestions?
