Where does it mount on the motor?

yes, #1 is the evap purge valve switch. plugs into wiring harness.
it mounts under the intake manifold, on a small metal bracket. look at the purge valve, it should have a rubber holder around it. on the rubber holder, there is a slit to slide over the tin metal bracket.
no, #12 shows the alternative to piping the valve. its either a direct hose from tbody to evap sw, or it has the inline valve like #12 shows.
