    m50NV won't start

So I thought it was my fuel pump because I couldn't hear it turn on .... ordered a new one, installed it, still don't hear the fuel pump turn on. Battery is brand new.

    Any suggestions?

So your old pump did not run so what you do is go out and spend money on a new one. Did you know that you can apply directly 12v to the fuel pump to see if it works? You can also bridge the wire at the fuel pump relay to force it to work just for testing. There is also fuel pump fuse.

A bit harsh yes, but there is a massive lack of information here and there is no way you can provide a decent answer.
        Is this in an e30?
        Was it running before?
Did you just swap it and find out it won't start?
        Does the car crank?
Did you wire the c101-x20 yourself of buy an adapter?

          Yes, it is an e30.
          Yes, it was running before.
My fuel pump died so I went out and bought a new one ... it worked and I drove it for a couple of days. That second day with the new fuel pump I tried turning my car on and I heard nothing so I assumed it was just because I had bought a cheap fuel pump on ebay so I bought a walbro.
No, the car doesn't crank. I just hear an electrical clicking sound.
          I don't know what a c101-x20 is ....

So I looked up the fuse box diagram here:

and checked my fuse box. The diagram states that fuse 11 is associated with the fuel pump and has a current rating of 7.5A but the fuse in position 11 for my e30 is green and has the number 30 printed on it. Isn't it supposed to say 7.5?

You might want to test your ignition switch.

unplug the fuel line that goes to the fpr and put the line into a bottle. turn key to start so it primes the pump. If no fuel goes out then you arent getting power. Check your fuses and relay

Checking for fuel isn't going to help the issue he's having. He said the car is not cranking and he just heard an "electrical clicking sound" when turning the key.. If it was he fuel pump or a fuel issue the car would still crank but not start. I'd start with the electrical system.
