Somebody please correct if I'm wrong... Don't early e30's have radiator mounts/support near the very bottom of the engine compartment and late e30's and e36's mount halfway up - about midway where the radiator sits on it's rubber bushing mounts. I'm nearly certain that this is true, so how does one mount a late model e30 or e36 radiator into an early model e30? I'm guessing this is not an issue as I've never seen discussion around it.

I think I found the answer to this. It looks like the late e30 and e36 radiators normally sit on mounts found about midway up the radiator - somewhere near the framerails. The early e30 radiators mount on the very bottom of the radiator, but it looks like the early e30 radiator mounts will fit the very bottom of the late e30 and e36 radiators.
