how much HP can a stock fuel pump support? i have a 91 318is and would assume that the fuel pumps are the same for all non M e30's. Thanks!

all E30 pumps are the same and you will be fine unless you reach more then 350-400hp

'91 318is has a proprietary fuel pump. Although it may flow the same it is different from all other e30 fuel pumps.

I'm still running a stock e30 325i fuel pump, and I'm making over 330 crank hp from my fully built s52. I would assume that that would be enough unless you plan on turbo-ing your car.

it has something to do with the fuel hose connections at the top of the fuel pump. I have a new one sitting here right now that I have to install as mine is dodgy.
