    Weird power problems

Every time I go from 1st to 2nd, I feel weird hiccups in the power. It's not a misfire because I can still hear the engine but sometimes the low end torque makes my wheels spin up hill like crazy and sometimes it doesn't spin at all. If I were to explain it it would be like my foot is on and off the throttle even though it's all the way down. Btw I'm running a m50b25tu

Are you using dual mass flywheel?

Dual mass flywheels are tuned to match the engine torque curve, engine resonant vibration characteristics, and vehicle load curves. They work by having a set of springs inserted between two rotating masses (i.e. Dual Mass). The springs are designed to absorb the resonant vibration from the engine before it transfers to the transmission. The dual mass flywheel contains an excessive "Friction Torque Limiter" so that if the flywheel is suddenly overloaded, it is designed to start slipping rather than damage the springs. This works fine as an occasional safety valve, but if occurs too often, it can overheat and burn up.
