Non-Vanos Head w/ 2.8L Block?

    Can i use M50B20 parts on M52 block+head ? except the intake and exhaust manifold of course. they are virtually the same with the 2,5l engine

      Are the non-Vanos M50B25 rods the same length as those in the M52? I know the non-Vanos rods are extra beefy, y'see...

        All M/S50 rods (US atleast) are 135mm, the only exception is VANOS 325's (93-95), which are 140mm.
        Same for M20's too, 135mm, exceptions being the 325e (130mm) and the 320i (also 130).
