Fuel Rail - Is this correct?

I'm using an e39 OBDII fuel rail - since the stock FPR setup on both the e30 and e36 is different - I want to make sure I've got the hoses connected properly. I've currently got it set up like the picture above - return line connected to regulator, feed line connected to the top tube. I'm not sure if the regulator design on this rail is supposed to limit pressure before or after the injectors?

    Thoughts?

I think the fpr is usually on the return side.

      That's correct.

You even got arrows indicating fuel flow. FPR is regulating pressure after the fuel has passed injectors
