Engine operating temps?

Hey guys,

Just wondering what temps some of your engines operate at?

Mines usually around the half way mark, sometimes to the 3/4 mark.

Are any of yours this high?

Half way is where it it supposed to be, i dont know how far it can go past that. Mine is usually at the 1/4th mark, I dont know what that means but its there.

you're talking about the m20? or m/s50?

I was refering to swapped guys, but yeah my old m20 operated a little lower that's why i'm wondering.

My 318is hovers around 1/2 to about a needle widths past.

my swapped car runs just below half exactly where it is supposed to sit. My m3 guage reads out in almost an identical spot.

I'm running e36 radiator and stock aux. fan.
