    S50 Conversions ever for sale?

I am in the market For a New daily driver, I woud like to look for a e30 s50 with the swap already completed, I love swaping engines (done 2 so far my 2002 with a s14 and a a friends car) but I want to pick one up already completed,
How much would I be looking at as the median price and how often do they show up for sale?
    ( I already searched )

    Thanks

There isn't much of a market for an uber expensive E30 besides the M3, so S50 swapped cars don't fetch altogether that much. I'd say for one with good cosmetics, a ballpark figure for a minimum price will be around $8K. If it has a five lug swap (E30s come stock with a four lug wheel setup) it may fetch another $1K. It all depends on how desperate the seller is!

I have personally noticed S50 E30s publicly for sale (eBay, or on one of these types of forums) only once or twice a year. There's a lot out there, but well done/good condition ones don't exchange hands often as in most cases they were someone's long term project car.

IIRC, one sold on eBay a year or two ago for only like $7K, but it was only in decent condition. But you could easily pay up to $12-15K for an extremely clean chassis'd car with a modified S50/52 and other expensive suspension, body or interior mods.

Well, to be fair, that car is SUPER clean, and has Schrick cams which are around $1200 by themselves. Also he has a fairly modded head, which VAC does for around $1300. Everything suspension-wise has been replaced on the car as well.

A conversion of Mtriple's thoroughness is rare, only because few people dedicate THAT many resources towards an E30. The only other guy being bmw332i on r3v. The only thing Mtriple's car is missing is 5 lugs and big brakes.

              Edit: Edited for clarity

besides a built motor and a clean body it's no different than most of our cars on this board...

mitch500. Looks good except for the hood, front bumper, headlights, window banner, exhaust, tail lights, shift knob, gauges, clear blinkers on the back with smoked in the front, air freshener, the shit hanging from the rear view mirror, and whatever else looks stupid.

Your front bumper makes me want to stab myself in the throat with my BMW toolkit screw driver.

I guess its true, canadians have no taste at all.

                            YA RRY.

Nah I was actually referring to Mtriple's car, which pretty much has everything except a 5 lug swap. I believe he still has the stock brakes and four lug setup. I guess my post just came out wrong.
