    OBD1 Wiring Harness Questions

Hows it going everyone, almost done with my s50 swap, but I have a few questions about the wiring harness. The harness im running is from an obd1 e34 m50 car, and I am either mixing up a few of the plugs, or there is something funky going on with the harness- Im betting that I simply mixed up a few plugs, I never had the opportunity to disassemble the s50 from the car it came from, or pull the e34 harness myself, so I havent had a chance to get a good idea of the wiring schematics of e36's. Anyways-

My question is regarding the cam/crank sensor plugs. Both are 3 pin, however, on the harness side, one is male and one is female.
Sorry the pictures might be oversized- the plug which I am assuming is the cam position sensor is the male plug, directly above the female crank sensor plug on the harness and the oil pressure plug (or to the left, depending on the orientation of the picture)

Here is the harness-side plug in question, obviously, its a male connector, just like the connector coming from the engine. Should I just re-plug everything and hope a mismatched plug comes up? In that case, there must be 2 female connectors hiding somewhere, one for this male harness connector, and one for the real cam position sensor.

Thanks a bunch guys! Sorry if this is an uber noob question- I couldnt find anything in searches. I can take more pics if necessary.
    Thanks again-

Double & triple checked the harness- the only plug which I thought that I could have mixed up was the triple prong female harness plug for the oil level sender in the oil pan.

So once again- everything plugs up except for the cam position sensor; the only extra plug on the wiring harness is a male 3 prong plug which is set up in the place of the cam sensor, and right next to the crank sensor, but its a male plug instead of a female

Does anyone know the wire colors for the cam position sensor so I can check this random male plug on the harness?

    Any ideas?

Turns out the 92-95 e34 m50 utilizes a cam position sensor with a female engine side plug, and a male plug on the harness. One of those things...

        BMW part #802 06101 101
Considering they're $85-$120 new, I may splice the existing s50 cam position sensor into the harness, or pick up a female 3 prong plug to put in the place of the male harness side one.
