    Just finished pulling my tranny today...

    Man, some of those top bolts were nearly impossible to get to.

    I'm trying to fix this.

    My problem isn't where the shifter rests, but that i'm having problems selecting R and 5th.

    Waiting on the parts from bma. Will let anyone that wants to know, know how it turns out.

    I am going to reply to your last post in that thread here. Are those BMW tool part numbers?

    Your parts guy isn't any good if they are. You need to add 90 88 6 or 88 88 6 to the beginning of those part numbers to get the 11 digit BMW part numbers that he can check availability on in DCSnet and order for you.

      Well,

      I'm not sure of what kind of numbers those are, but those are the same kind that are listed in bentley so it must be some kind of bmw toold numbering.

      Also, if Patrick from bma isn't good: I don't know who is.
