m50b30 main bearings

Im working on a m50b30 stroker. Basically an m54b30 rotating assembly in an m50 block. I ran into a problem with the main bearings I ordered from ecs tuning. Part # 11211706847 or ecs # 2626366. My main bearing caps have 2 tangs. The new bearings are single tang and the tangs are slightly larger. The oem bearings I removed were 2 tang. Thoughts?

It seems as though I received 6 extra block side bearings and no cap bearings, essentially.

Sounds like you received a set of M20 early main bearings. Maybe worth ordering from someone whose forte is actually BMW.

I think something isn't correct here. I ordered a set of m50 mains from a different company, pelican parts. Once again, they all only have one tang. Does anybody know what's wrong with my orders?
