Okay ladies and gentlemen hopefully you can help because this car is driving me insane. 89 325i with an m50b25 from a 92 525i non vanos. Yesterday I was driving and I have a complete loss of power and when I step on the gas there is nothing, then it kicks back on a few seconds later. It does this three or four times before it stalls completely and I have to restart. I rebuilt much of the car over the past winter... here's some of what I have done
-New gaskets in the m50 (new plugs, new coil packs, rebuilt injectors, new Crank pos sensor)
-New fuel tank, new filter, new fuel pump
-I purchased the ECU used because the one I got with the motor was dented and the car would not start
-New relays
There is also plenty more that I haven't listed
The car has run fine since I did everything over the winter (well not fine because it's an e30 and something new and exciting always happens) and this is a problem that just started. I had some issues a few weeks ago with it not wanting to start because it obviously wasn't getting any fuel. That problem went away after I did the pump and CPS. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated guys
