    Replacing The In-Cluster Temp Gauge

While I know that i could buy a re-threaded temp sensor and install it into the m52 head, I would prefer to replace the gauge in the cluster. It has been unreliable in the past, and I don't want to overheat the motor just because I decided to use the stock gauge. I've read a few threads on this here, but none of them have listed exactly what gauges were used.

Anyone have an idea of what will actually fit in the stock cluster?

Are you looking to use an aftermarket gauge? I have both the factory one and an aftermarket one. My S50 has an extra port in the head so I put the aftermarket sender there and the gauge where the ashtray used to be.
