E34 pan on S52 not sitting flush

Hey guys,

I've got a serious issue at the moment, can't get my oil pan to sit flush on the block. I've removed the windage tray and bent off the oil pickup bracket as well. It looks like the windage tray on the E34 pan is hitting the block and not allowing it to slide over all the way and drop all the way down. Any one had an issue like this before? Any help would be greatly appreciated, this is the only hold up on reassembling the motor......

I had the same issue. My e34 pan had a built in baffle. I did not use the one in my m52. I actually fitted the e34 pan and marked where the baffle needed to be trimmed. I trimmed it using a cutoff wheel. Works great.
