    S52 rebuild parts

Just curious as to where some of you guys have gotten rebuild parts for these motors.

I planned on getting an OEM, headgasket rebuild kit, so things like head bolts are covered, but as far as say...springs? spring, retainers, collets? Just curious if there are people who sell them here, maybe a sponsor, Im all ears for decent brands as well, thanks.

    Please leave feedback below, thanks

Google should turn up some brand recommendations for the bearings and piston rings... glyco, hastings, grant and Kolbenschmidt (I think this is the true OEM manufacturer of the bearings) come to mind. As for where to buy, you can find a lot of it on ebay, just confirm the brand/manufacturer. As far as seals and gaskets go, I stick to elring as much as I can (especially HG, Reinz is known to be crap for the HG). I think goetz is regularly cited as the best HG (but pretty sure it's only available from the dealer).

As far as springs/retainers/collets, I don't think I have ever seen someone replacing those as oem. As in, I don't think they are usually or ever something that needs replacement on a stock na build. There are plenty of upgrades available in that area though and available through a bunch of vendors.

As to where to buy any and all of the stuff, I buy a lot from BMA parts, but ecs usually has good prices too. And I'm sure any of the site sponsors can help... blunttech?

I got all my parts between OMG Motorworks and FCPeuro.com. Denis at OMG is amazing and has a pretty cool excel doc with everything listed for a rebuild.
Click here to leave me feedback on our transactions. :p

I'm a fairly new forum sponsor, I just don't advertise nearly as much. I'm a one man show so its difficult to manage everything.

But I do give every customer my undivided attention and make sure everyone is happy

            Thanks for the love Darrel!!

I usually buy from ECS, BMA, or Pelican. I think most OEM parts I've bought from ECS, they usually have awesome prices. Haven't used OMG yet but I will soon.

As far as valve springs I bought OEM S52 springs from ECS, a full set is around $250. Pretty affordable IMO. Retainers and collets don't need to be replaced unless seriously worn or you're going full-build.
